Nature, which has shaped this landscape over the longest time, has made sure both function and aesthetics go together.
After some time abroad, I came back to Finland and was curious to explore what could be made domestically. With its deep history and know-how of glass, I began working with glassblowers to test its possibilities and limits.
Glass quickly became a material that fascinates me. It has been used for years, yet still feels modern. It can be fragile but also very durable, controllable yet always
giving each piece its own unique character.
Every product is made in collaboration with local artisans, glassblowers and ceramicists who bring the designs to life. Because each piece is handmade, no two are exactly alike.
When I first came into contact with the world of gastronomy, partly by chance, I was captivated from the first minute. I've had the privilege of working with some of the world's most talented chefs, translating their identity and culture into tangible tableware.
