The initiative to start Iisak came when I moved back to Finland, after over 6 years of living and working abroad in Italy, Sweden and Denmark. When I came back, I could see the country from a new perspective, a country with vast nature landscape, resources, and great craftmanship.
Our design language is inspired by the shapes of nature, from sand waves to water, and once ideated, we work closely with local artisans to bring these forms to life as tableware.

Iisak is part of a broader effort to reestablish local production as a forward-looking path. By designing well-crafted objects, we create lasting value for the people who make them, and for those who bring them into their homes.
